These homemade protein bars are a great replacement for the sugar-filled muesli bars you’ll find at the supermarket.

Adults and kids alike will love these tasty protein bars. The best thing is they’re a great healthy snack for on the go or to get you through your afternoon slump. These bars are high in protein from quality protein Clean Nutrition, which is low carb, low fat and low sugar. They also have a good amount of fibre and healthy fats. Better yet, there are no artificial ingredients or colours and all sugar comes from natural sources like the dates and honey. Keep a batch of these on hand for when hunger hits. The hardest thing about making these protein bars will be not eating them all at once!

Ingredients

– 2c oats
– 1/2c Clean Nutrition Vanilla Whey
– 1/2c dark choc chips
– 1/2c flaxseeds
– 1/2c dates
– 1c Natural Peanutbutter
– 1/2c Unsweetened Almond Milk
– 1/2c Manuka Honey

Directions

Combine all ingredients together using a food processor. Spread the mixture into a container lined with baking paper and press down firmly. Refrigerate overnight or until set. Remove the slice from the fridge and cut into bars. Keep the bars stored in an airtight container in the fridge.
