Recall of HYDROXYCUT products in the US
On the 2nd of May 2009 there was a recall of Hydroxycut products in the US.

Sportsfuel does not sell the the US Versions, as the are not approved for sale in New Zealand by Medsafe. 
Sportsfuel sells the NZ & Australian version which has different ingredients and are approved by Medsafe New Zealand.  This version is distributed by the official New Zealand and Australian distributor and bears the AUST L number on the label.

NUTRITION SYSTEMS CUSTOMER COMMUNICATION

Nutrition Systems and Nutrition Systems NZ Pty Ltd advises that the Hydroxycut branded products distributed in Australia and New Zealand by Nutrition Systems and Nutrition Systems NZ Pty Ltd are different in key ingredients and overall formula from the products that were subjected to the recall in the United States.

In addition, unlike in the United States, all Nutrition Systems’ Hydroxycut products in Australia underwent pre-market listing with Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) prior to market release. This process requires that all ingredients are fully declared to TGA and need to be pre-approved for use in these products at the dosages stated on the label. All Hydroxycut products distributed by Nutrition Systems Australia and Nutrition Systems NZ Pty Ltd all bear the AUST L number on the label as a result of this stringent pre-market listing process.

Based on the above Nutrition Systems and Nutrition Systems NZ Pty Ltd will continue to distribute the Australian and New Zealand Hydroxycut formulations at this time.

Nutrition Systems will work closely with the TGA in Australia and Medsafe in New Zealand in respect of all the Hydroxycut products. If more information comes to hand this will be released accordingly.

We had feedback from a customer recently who was annoyed about not receiving enough information on the progress of his order. So we set up a new procedure where we send a minimum of three emails to let you know what’s happening.

Since then we have received several happy emails about how well we kept in touch.

So what is the new customer email process?

1st Email – Order confirmation. Order Status is Pending.
This email tells you what was ordered, where it will be delivered to, prices, totals and payment details.

2nd Email – Product confirmation. Order status is Processing.
This email tells you whether the item/s your ordered are in stock and ready to send, or need to be ordered from the Supplier. If possible we tell you that the item is expected to arrive, to the Sportsfuel base.

If there are any delays with the supplier we will re-email and let you know what is happening.

3rd Email – Delivery information. Order Status is Delivered.
This email tells you that your supplement/s have been sent, the name of the courier company and the tracking number.

To check the location of your order use the links in the FAQ section, and enter the tracking number provided.
